Out with the Old and In with the New!
Updated: Sep 14
I am newly married, well just over a year. Which I will tell everyone all about another time. We bought our first home together just before the summer. And yes it was a big decision because we had been looking at places back in February and March before COVID hit. We found the perfect house, I mean this house was almost my dream house and had everything on our checklist. As we were putting in the offer for it COVID hit so as you can see what a huge decision this was. Do we buy or wait and keep renting. We went for home run and kept negotiating with the sellers. We closed in on the house and moved back in May. Our home is very nice and we have minor things that need to be done and few big projects I would love to do in the long run. I can say I have been lucky through COVID to have been able to buy a home and be home to do these things. My husband travels for work and is not home during the week. The point to this long post is to let everyone know that life is not over. We woke up one day and the world we live in changed into something very different. Yes it was scary at first but we are adapting to it. We have to remind ourselves that sometimes you need to slow down and enjoy the little things. Pick up a paintbrush and paint a wall or fix that broken door you have been meaning to fix for months. I have been painting different areas of my house. Embrace colors!
